Taking Back Yourself, Your Places, and Your Spaces


How much did you give up for these relationships?  What did you give up? It’s painful to think about it – but it may be time to go take some of it back. And also recognize what you may not want back and finally heave that sigh of – “good riddance.” This month will involve you taking stuff back in literal and emotional ways. In order for a narcissistic relationship to work – it means we have to give up ourselves for them to work. But it goes beyond that – the betrayals, unkindness, gaslighted arguments- may have ruined special occasions, special places, activities you love, a hobby, a favorite song, even a favorite food. This is the month we learn what we lose, why we lose it, and how to get it back – and most importantly, how taking these things back is part of you being and feeling whole outside of this relationship.
