There are few things more fraught in a narcissistic relationship than money.  EVERY SINGLE narcissistic relationship has issues with money – expensive narcissistic divorces, families fighting about wills, controlling people with money, getting revenge through money, hypocrisy about money, love bombing, narcissistic bosses who get paid too much and pay their employees too little, exploiting people for money, showing favoritism in a family through money, or just being grifters - and I am sure you can think of endless ways this has played out in your narcissistic relationships. 

Money is a means by which so many narcissistic relationships do so much harm – keeping people stuck, other people misreading financial manipulation as generosity, creating a transactional quality to relationships, and leading people to experience a “financial trauma bond.”  

We have certainly skirted the issue of money repeatedly in this program, but this month we are going to take it straight on – there is no type of narcissistic relationship where money isn’t a driver of the toxic dynamics. This month we will get to the core of narcissism and money and how this may have impacted your experience in the narcissistic relationship as well as your healing.
